I bought this printer to replace my aging Epson Photo 870 and Canon n1220U Scanner. Wow so far i am really impressed. The photo quality is excellent although at first i was worried about how long the ink would last so far i am very happy, Have printed about 30 6X4 Prints and ink still showing full. A4 paper is stored nice and tidy in a tray underneath which slides out, prints both sides!, Scanner is very fast compared to my old Canon and with one press you can use it as a photocopier, Very useful. I had no trouble setting up wifi very straight forward. Works very well from all my Pc`s scattered around the house. Overall i have no hesitation recommending this product.

5 out of 5 stars Making it easier...   December 10, 2009

Setting this up was a breeze - if you're concerned about wireless connections, don't be put off. I got mine up and running in less than 20 minutes through a PC, then my partner linked it up with her Mac in about 10. The instruction manual is very clear, as is the LCD screen on the printer. Pop the disc in, go through a very simple series of instructions which require you to feed in the serial number (easy to read on the machine) and the code you used to set up your router. And that's it! For photo printing there are, again, very clear instructions on the computer screen. A small, easy-to-find tray at the back, photo paper in, glossy side to the front. The printer finds your photo folders and provides several paper size options and a print preview. It's taken me longer to write this than to print a photo. The print quality on normal document paper (fed from front)and also on the photos, is so much better than on my previous (far more expensive) Brother printer, which is going to a charity shop. This Canon MP560 is compact, straightforward, and looks great. The print quality is, for the price, very good (and for photos, excellent!). Thoroughly recommended! --- Update after 3 months: The pop-up that informs how the print job is going, and how much ink is left for each colour, is very useful. The inks have an above-average lifespan. For good black and white document printing, though, the paper needs to be good quality. Still delighted.

I bought this printer for my mum as she uses a laptop. The set up, although not for the faint hearted, worked on the second attempt and it has connected automatically ever since. The print quality is amazing! As I used to work as a professional photographic printer and in reprographics and I was stunned that it was real photo quality. I would recommend this printer to anyone.

Product delivered very quickly from Amazon. Took no time to set up, and the combination of wired USB and wireless capability was invaluable for the home PC and the two laptops we use. The wireless set up was the easiest I have ever encountered, working seamlessly with a standard Linksys wireless router, and the glossy photo quality is nothing short of outstanding. The best printer I have owned by a long shot, and I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality home machine.

If you are in two minds about what to get, don't be!
I previously owned the MP540 (non wireless) which the mother in law has now, so that i could upgrade to this.

It is fantastic.
I have 3 computers wirelessly connected to the printer. Installation was easy, and quick. Print quality and speed are great. and I have no regrets whatsoever about this printer. It is a thing of beauty.

Amazon again delivered with a courier very fast (even on super saver) so the whole experience buying this has been great!

Just buy it!
